Payment Policy
At Mangaldarshan, we aim to make your payment process as seamless and transparent as possible. Below are the details of our payment policies to ensure a smooth experience for all our clients.
1. Payment Requirements
- All payments for the tour cost must be made according to the prescribed procedure and timeline.
- Payments made within 5 days prior to the tour departure must be completed using Cash or Demand Draft.
2. PAN Card Requirement
- A copy of the client’s PAN card is mandatory for any cash payments of INR 25,000/- or more.
3. Payments for Foreign Exchange
- The foreign exchange component of your tour is calculated based on the rate of exchange (ROE) on the day of payment.
- As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines:
- Private or Leisure Travel: Indian passport holders can avail up to USD 10,000 (or equivalent) per calendar year.
- Business Travel: A maximum of USD 25,000 per visit is permitted.
- For both categories, no more than USD 2,000 (or equivalent) can be carried in cash.
Procedure for Foreign Exchange Payment:
- Payments for the foreign exchange component under your Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) must be made in Indian Rupees via a demand draft in favor of Mangaldarshan.
- Clients are required to fill out, sign, and submit a pre-printed Basic Travel Quota Form for processing.
- Mangaldarshan will submit the form to the Authorized Dealer/Money Changer, who will release the required foreign exchange under your BTQ.
4. Payment Schedule
To confirm your booking, payments must be made as per the following schedule:

| 29 – 7 days prior | 60% of the Total Tour Cost |
| 6 – 1 days prior | 20% of the Total Tour Cost |
| Airline/Train/Premium Activities | 100% of the Cost |
- Note: GST (as applicable) will be collected with the third installment.
5. Rate of Exchange (ROE)
- The rate of exchange for the foreign exchange component will be calculated based on the date of the final 100% payment.
6. Important Notes
- Failure to make timely payments as per the schedule may result in:
- Cancellation of the booking or tour.
- Forfeiture of the deposit.
- Cancellation charges as per the cancellation policy.
